ALERT ! Off-leash status at Fort Funston & call for volunteers. The Park Service has started an intensive education program that includes new signage, brochures stating “5 Reasons to Leash Your Dog”, and free leashes.

[Urging GGNRA to delay leash enforcement] Resolution requesting the National Park Service to delay enforcing, in the San Francisco parks situated in the GGNRA, 36 C.F.R. 2.15, requiring pets to be on leash in national parks, until the ANPR process has been completed.
